Book: Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
I really loved the book because the main character named Bella falls in love with a man who was very mysterious. ..until one day she started investigating about vampires because Jacob (her friend) told her a story about the Cullen’s and how they weren’t able to get near la push beach and how its was property of the Quiltilies. She found out that Edward wasn't a normal guy but he was an immortal vampire who lost his soul and was able to read anybody's minds except for Bella’s. This book is about how they struggle threw there differences to keep there love. Even when some other vampires come and spot her...
What does your friend need to know in order to read this book?
If you like romance or like a story about vampires and they don't care about if one is human or one is a vampire they still love each other. Then even though it is a big book, don't give up on it, please I bet you will like it.

Book: Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer
I think the STORY of the book is alright. Not my favorite. It's about a stubborn, human girl falling for a vampire (which is her boyfriend) and she doesn't want to age so she's trying to convince her boyfriend into turning her into a vampire too. Meanwhile, a werewolf falls in love with the girl and complicate things. I recommend reading the Twilight Saga if you like that. Personally, I hate books with vampires and werewolves. In a way you have to choose a side and I dislike how ever since Twilight became popular there are more authors publishing books about vampires. Vampire stories are becoming a hit in teen world...and I don't like that. Why can't it just be human?
What does your friend need to know in order to read this book?
Well since it's the third book in the series, I would read the first two first and get to know the characters. Also, Vampires and werewolves don't get along well. The story has some romance, intense parts, and some parts I find pretty funny.

Book: Wings by Aprilynne Pike
It's a good book for people who enjoy fantasy. Also anyone who likes a good love story. It has many different themes I guess you could say because there's action and love and adventure and a bunch of stuff. It's also similar to the twilight series kind of.
What does your friend need to know in order to read this book?
Well the main idea in the book is that the idea of what a Faerie is wrong. That faeries don't have wings and there is no pixie dust. Instead the faeries grow flowers. Meaning they blossom and we mistake those for wings and such. There is really not much you need to know.

Book: Raptor Red by Robert T. Bakker
This book details the life of a Utahraptor named Raptor Red. She hunts, she fights, she loves... Raptor Red has very human emotions (Help sister with kids, think about past, learn new things, feel sad) , broken up by raptor-like emotions. (Kill, eat, hunt, mate) There is some bad language, but not much.
The writer has the ability to keep you interested, describing the world surrounding Raptor Red. The dinosaurs, the plants, and other creatures all come to life beneath Bakker's pen. It is an amazing ride... if you like dinosaurs.
What does your friend need to know in order to read this book?
You need to have a like of dinosaurs, specifically raptors (Veloceraptor, Deinonychis, Utahraptor, ect.)

Book: The Prince of Shadow: Volume One of Seven Brothers by Curt Benjamin
This is very good for lovers of fantasy and Asian culture.
In it, a prince named Ilesha is taken captive with his six brothers and separated to be sold as a slave. He becomes a pearl diver until he is fifteen, when he discovers all six brothers are still alive and that he must find them. Because pearl divers are not allowed of the island where he works, Llesho joins the group of gladiators that train on the island. Llesho does get off the island in the end, and continues on his way, illuminating a creative, and, at times, savage, world. It is not set in Asia per se, but in its own world. It is a fascinating read, and will keep you glued to the end.
What does your friend need to know in order to read this book?
You need to have some interest in fantasy, as well as the cultures of East Asia. No books have to be read beforehand, as this is the first of several books by the same author. Also, the length is not for the faint of heart.

Book: The Devouring Sorry Night by Simon Holt
I think this book was ok. It’s not the usual kind of book i read but it was interesting. It’s mainly about the evil things there are in this so called world we live in. Reggie found a book about Vours (a kind of spirit possessing ur body) once she found out it was true nothing but bad things starts happening. As she uncovers the secrets of these creatures, her brother Henry starts acting stranger and might possibly become a killer.

Book: Dark Flame by Alyson Noel
I love this book. One of the best in the immortal series it makes you want more. But what surprises me is that just when you think something wonderful is about to happen Alyson gets the almost wonderful ending to a new twisted journey for the characters. I can't wait for Night Star and the final book in 2011. Ever almost gets the antidote for Damen but Jude interferes out of jealously or as a mistake?
