Series: The Gone Series by Michael Grant

It's a GREAT series. Full of action and adventure, it's sure to please anyone! Basically, everyone over 14 is gone. I can't tell you much, otherwise it will spoil it! There are 3 books so far, GONE, HUNGER, and LIES. Upcoming books feature: PLAGUE, DARKNESS, and LIGHT. Anyway, GREAT read.

There's lot's of suspense, and a few scary parts, but if you love a good adventure/action/sci-fi book this is GREAT. It's also fun to relate to characters your age.

Book: The Revenge of the McNasty Brothers by Greg Trine

The book was fun and funny it is kind of confusing but interesting... I liked the book especially because the superheroes worked together and shared the caps. I also liked when a little rat saved them from the kidnapping. I think it is a GOOD BOOK FOR KIDS WHO LIKE TO READ AND LOOK AT SUPERHEROS BOOKS.

What does your friend need to know in order to read this book?

That you have to have a lot if imagination. This is because the book is not true and well you have to imagine you’re insider the book. You should also predict what will happen next. This can be a useful and fun way to read this book.

Book: Red Hot Hightops by Matt Christopher

I liked this book because it was like a detective book, which surprised me. The main character didn't know who had given her the red hot hightops, but she was determined to find out who gave them to her. It is hard for her to sleep because the question is always nagging at her.

What does your friend need to know in order to read this book?

All the books I have read by this author are pretty good.

Book: Lost Symbol by Dan Brown

This fantastic novel was full of suspense and thrills. It had well developed characters, and a great plot. The book taught me one aspect of U.S history. Robert Langdon is called upon to give a lecture in Washington D.C, but it doesn't turn out as he expected. He races to uncover the truth and find his friend before time runs out!

What does your friend need to know in order to read this book?

There isn't anything that you have to know in order to read this book, or at least not that I can think of.

Book: Eye of the Crow by Shane Peacock

Eye of the Crow is a wonderful prequel to the Sherlock Holmes series; it not only delivers a wonderful mystery, but it also explains some of Sherlock Holmes' odd behaviors and habits.

What does your friend need to know in order to read this book?

Before you read this be sure that you are fairly acquainted with Sherlock Holmes; maybe read a few of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories.
