The Santa Barbara Public Library was named one of three winners of the 2010 Estela and Raúl Mora Award for exemplary coordination of the Dia de los Niños festival.  The award was established by author and poet Pat Mora and her siblings in honor of their parents.

Join the Santa Barbara Public Library System and The Junior League of Santa Barbara
for our Third Annual Dia De Los Libros Celebration!

WHEN: Saturday, April 16th from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
WHERE: Santa Barbara Central Library in the Library Plaza
and Faulkner Gallery

Event will feature nationally recognized storyteller Olga Loya and local storytellers Kirk Henning and Joseph Velasco.  The Brazilian Cultural Arts Center of Santa Barbara will be performing Afro-Brazilian dance and music.  In addition, local youth mariachi and dancing groups will be performing!
