Tips for Searching the New Catalog
For basic searching you can choose a Keyword, Author, or Title search. You can also select Advanced Search to limit by format, location, language, etc.
Branch—shows the library location of the item
Location—shows where the item is located in the building
Date—if status is Checked-out this date refers to the due date; if the status is Not checked-out this date refers to the date it was last returned
Call Number—refers to where the item is located on the shelf
Status—shows whether a library item is Checked Out or
Not Checked Out
Placing Holds
- Once you have selected the title you would like to request click on the Place hold(s) link located on the left of the screen
- Type in your library barcode number and your Last Name (you no longer use your PIN number) and click Enter
- Select your pick-up location and click on Place Hold
